The family of Michael Predmore, US Navy veteran, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend and participate in their loved ones funeral services. We would be honored to do so.
Michael, who served in Vietnam, was very proud of his military service. He was also very patriotic and would raise the American flag in his yard every morning and lower it in the afternoons.
Michael enlisted in the Navy in 1962. After approx 5 yrs of broken time and with an accumulated 27 years service to his country, he retired in 1994 having attained the rank of Chief PO.
During Michael's Navy career he received Meritorious Unit Commendation "3", Navy E Ribbon "3", Good conduct Medals, "4", National Defense Medal "2", Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal and a Marksmanship ribbon.
In his civilian life Michael worked for McDonnell Douglas and was also a truck driver, having owned his own trucking company.
Michael is survived by his wife Vickie, 2 sons Shane and Dean, 5 grand children and 5 great grand children.
The family has asked for an accompaniment from the mortuary in La Mesa to Michael’s final resting place at Miramar National Cemetery, approximately 17 miles.
