Part 2 of 2 PartsThe family of Officer Richard O. Ramirez, age 40, has invited the PGR to honor him at his funeral services and accompany him to his final resting place. We are privileged to do so.
Officer Richard Octavio Ramirez was a double Hero, having served in the US Marine Corps and in Law Enforcement.
Richard served in the Marine Corps from 2000 to 2005 when he was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal. His time served included deployments in Afghanistan.
In January, 2018 Richard went to work for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), Enforcement and Compliance Division (ECD) as a Police Officer. He was employed in this capacity until his unexpected passing due to COVID on 05 Sept 2021.
