The family of Charles Victor Bruce, with the assistance of Larry Tozzi, PGR member and coworker of our hero, has requested the PGR be present for final military honors at Charles' celebration of life. We are honored to participate.
Charles was born November 28, 1962. Sadly, after an extended battle with cancer for over three years, he passed away on August 6, 2021. It was his wish that his remains be donated to science for research purposes. He will therefore not be present for his final military honors performed by a United States Air Force honor team.
Our hero served in the United States Air Force from 1981-1985. At the time of his honorable discharge, he was a Sergeant (E-4). He spent the entirety of his enlistment, following tech school, at Cannon AFB, NM. Assigned to the 27th Special Operations Wing where he worked on weapons control systems of the F-111D, Aardvark.
Following his honorable discharge, Charles worked as a Sound Effects Editor in supervision for 20 years. His work was heard on many television shows and his quality work was rewarded with four Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmy) awards.
He loved his family. He loved volunteering in the community and local schools. Charles provided sound for local parades and was involved with the Acton School music organization. He was also an active member of the Acton Faith Bible church and wasn't shy about sharing God's love with others.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Kristina and their four children, Heather, Aylana, Maylea, and Nigel Bruce. Additionally, he is survived by siblings Maria Lacore and Phill, James, and Rolland Bruce.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
