The family of MNSC Robert McQuiddy, 45, and the US Navy have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero with an accompany to his final resting place, we will be honored to do so.

Senior Chief McQuiddy enlisted in the US Navy in 1999 and had served over 22 years at the time of his unexpected passing.  He was preparing to retire in December, 2021.  He had an exemplary career in the Navy as a Mineman, specializing in leadership and training and was respected and revered by all who knew him and worked with him.

He also found time to support some charities he held dear, the Wounded Warrior Project and RADY Children's Hospital were two of them.

Senior Chief McQuiddy is survived by his family and friends and of course his fellow Sailors, he will be sorely missed and never forgotten.  "Fair Winds and Following Seas" Sr Chief, your job here is done, we will take it from here.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to cemetery (approximately 13.6 miles). Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
