The family of Jack Richard Steinhilber, age 92, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero with Flag Lines of salute as he is laid to rest, we are privileged to be there.  This is even more meaningful as the Hero, Jack Steinhilber was at the same cemetery in the past and saw the PGR honoring another Hero and was so impressed, he thought it was wonderful and now we can do the same for him.

Jack enlisted in the US Army on 13 November, 1951 and served in the Korean War proudly until his honorable discharge on 14 November, 1953 at the rank of Corporal.

After the Military, Jack went to work for a branch of ITT and participated in the Lunar Project in their aerospace division.  He eventually worked his way up to Director of Information Systems and retired after 33 years.

Jack grew up on a farm and loved growing things, he loved gardening and was very good at it, his family and friends reaped the benefits of enjoying fabulous meals prepared with many things  he grew.  Jack also loved spending time with his beloved wife Barbara and his children and adored his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed fishing and playing a bit of golf.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Barbara, their 4 adopted children, John, Mary, Mike (predeceased) and Beth, and 7 grandchildren.
