The family of Joshua “Josh” Randall, 28, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the military honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our privilege to do so.
Josh Randall was born on April 23, 1993 and tragically passed away on February 19, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on his way home from a Mammoth ski trip with his younger brother, Justin. Almost one month later, March 16, 2022, younger brother, Justin, also passed away from injuries sustained in the accident.
Josh entered the United States Army in December 2015 and was honorably discharged in April 2019 and attained the rank of E3. He was a member of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal based out of Fort Riley, KS. He deployed to both Iraq and Kuwait as part of the team protecting US Embassies. He earned several commendations to include the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon.
He was employed by SpaceX at the time of his death. He worked within the team that builds the top housing that covers the payload of the rocket. He really enjoyed his job at SpaceX and the camaraderie with his work buddies. Josh’s hobbies included snowboarding, 4-wheeling, boating, wake boarding, and working out. He loved spending time with his family and friends and loved his dogs.
Josh is survived by his mother and father, Joanne and Dana Randall, and one aunt and uncle. Understandably, his parents are devastated in the untimely passing of both their sons.
