The family of Sgt Thyse N. Tutiy, age 27, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero to the airport as he is returned home to his family in Saipan for burial, we will be honored to do so.
Sgt Thyse N. Tutiy was serving with the United States Marine Corps as part of Battery N, 5th Batt, 14th Marines at the time of his passing. He was a Maintenance Chief and had been in the Corps for several years. He had served in the Global War On Terror with several deployments. His Marine Unit recently held a Memorial for him attended by his fellow Marines and family, he was remembered by all as a devoted and loyal Marine and a good man that everyone looked up to.
Sgt Tutiy was from the island nation of Saipan and will be returned there to be interred with family.
Sgt Tutiy is survived by his wife, and 2 children, ages 12 weeks and 4 years old, and many other family members and friends. He will always be remembered and never forgotten. May he rest in honored peace.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral home to the airport, a distance of approx 105 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. If you prefer to meet us at the airport we will see you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
