The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to attend services for 43 yrs. old Paul Brian Hickey, 43, US Navy Retired, AME1. We would be honored to do so.

Paul enlisted in the US Navy in 1989 and retired in 2009. He served aboard USS Independence(CV-62) 1990, USS Kitty Hawk(CV-61) 1996-1997, USS John C. Stennis(CVN-74)2004, USS Ronald Regan(CVN-76) 2006-2008.

Paul received National defense service medal (2), Navy and marine corps achievement medal(2), Navy good conduct medal (6), Meritorious unit commendation; Navy unit commendation; armed forces expeditionary medal(3), Southwest Asia Service Medal with bronze star; Global war on terrorism expeditionary medal; Global war on terrorism service medal; Kuwait..

Funeral arrangements Holland & Lyons Mortuary to All Faith Chapel then to Holland & Lyons.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to the church service then back to the mortuary.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

1035: Mission brief

1050: Depart to All Faith Chapel on the Naval Station

1110: Flag line (Hero to Church)

1200: Service at All Faith Chapel

1310: Flag line and Military Honors

1315: Depart back to Holland & Lyons (with Flag line at Mortuary) where the funeral director will arrange for a later burial at sea aboard a U.S. Navy ship.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
