Dear Jeff Werner, Ride Captain; Alvin, Video Guru; and Patriot Guard Riders,
I want to thank you so very much for escorting Mark and our family to Miramar National Cemetery on 9 June 2022. Your total respect for our military and our veterans is sincerely appreciated. Mark loved this country and he loved serving in the Navy, and I know as a motorcycle rider, he was loving every minute of the ride. I was completely thrilled as was my family. My love of our flag and seeing so many was overwhelming. Losing Mark has been one of the most difficult things I’ve ever experienced and I’m honored to have Jeff and the Patriot Guard Riders make some great memories for me.
I also want to thank Alvin for the beautiful video he made of that day. I don’t know how I can ever repay you all. I can’t thank you enough.
