The family of Louis Preston Dupuy Sr., age 73, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from the church to the cemetery where he will receive his military honors, we are privileged to do so.

Louis Dupuy served in the US Army from April, 1968 until January, 1970 when he was honorably discharged, most of that time in Vietnam. He received the following medals and awards, NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL, VIETNAM CAMPAIGN MEDAL, ARMY COMMENDATION MEDAL, BRONZE STAR W/ "V" DEV.

After the military Louis went into the construction business and worked for several companies including Disneyland and eventually had his own company until retirement.  He loved volunteering with his community and with his fellow Veterans at the VFW, Veterans of Foreign Wars post.  He also loved the Lord and going to church, he loved fishing and going to the park with his family.

Louis is survived by 3 brothers Joe, John and Mark, 1 Sister Tammy. his 4 Children Michelle, Louis Jr, James and Daniel. 13 Grandchildren Alexis, Caralyn, Sophia, Bryn, Mikaela, Joshua, Aiden, Adrian, Johnny, Destiny, Isaiah, Hailey and Reyanna, and 2 Great Grandchildren Isaiah and Joseph.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church to the cemetery, approx 2 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the airport, we will meet you there.

NOTE:  THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED A LOT OF "THUNDER" IN HONOR OF THEIR FATHER

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
