The family of Benjamin β€œBen” Rangel has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Ben Rangel, served in the USMC from 1977 to 1983.  While serving our country, Ben was awarded Pistol Expert and Rifle Sharpshooter National Defense medals. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Lance Corporal.

After his military service, Ben enjoyed singing and watching all sports as well as spending time with his large extended family.

Our hero is survived by 4 children – Jesus, Nadine, Ricardo, & Matt; 7 brothers and sisters – Rosa, Fernando, Peter, Lupe, Victor, Blanca, & Alma; and 8 grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, this is a flag line only mission at the church listed below.  For those who would like to participate, please see the timetable and we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC).

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
