!! UPDATE - TIME CHANGE - SEE NEW TIME TABLE BELOW !!

The family of Sgt Davonte Wilkin, age 24, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from the mortuary to the airport as he is returned home to his family.  We will be honored to do so.

Sgt Davonte Wilkin was serving with the US Marine Corps at MCAGCC in Twentynine Palms, CA when he unexpected passed away.  He had served for several years with overseas deployments and was serving in the Headquarters Battalion, Criminal Investigation Division at the time of his passing.

Davonte was an outstanding Marine, great son, amazing friend to everyone, he was highly respected by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Sgt Wilkin is survived by his mother and many other family members, friends, and his fellow Marines.  He will never be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral home to the airport, a distance of approx 125 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. If you prefer to meet us at the airport we will see you there.

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
