The family of ABCM Stanley Bollinger, age 47, and the US Navy have invited the PGR to accompany their Hero as he is moved from the funeral home to the cemetery for his final honors. We are grateful to do so.
Stanley "Stan" Bollinger enlisted in the US Navy on July 18, 1994 and served nearly 30 yrs rising to the rank of Master Chief Aviation Boatswain's Mate. Sadly he lost a battle to cancer and passed away on February 17, 2023 while still serving on Active Duty. He was stationed in San Diego and was well loved and respected by all those that served with him, both above and below him in rank.
One of his shipmates said "He was truly an amazing man! Remember working for him, always a fast and witty thinker." Another says "Such a blessing to have known and spent time with such a great guy...wonderful husband, father, friend and leader."
When he was off duty Stan enjoyed boogie boarding, fishing, music, and most importantly family.
ABCM Bollinger is survived by his wife, children, siblings, and many other family members, friends and shipmates. He will always be remembered and dearly missed.

For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the chapel service to his final resting place. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
