The family of MICHAEL BRETT GLENN, LANCE CORPORAL, U. S. MARINE CORPS, 60, NOVEMBER 13, 1962 – FEBRUARY 18, 2023, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their HERO from the mortuary to Riverside National Cemetery. We are Honored to accompany him and his family.
MICHAEL BRETT GLENN was born in Anaheim, California on November 13, 1962 to Gordon and Andrea Glenn. Mikes Dad was employed by Edison Electric Company in the Fullerton area where they lived. He attended the local schools and in eighth grade he befriended and later became High School Sweethearts with Debbie Lynn Harper. Both graduated from Fullerton High School and were married soon after on August 21, 1982.
On October 07, 1982, he enlisted in the Marine Corps at the Los Angeles Military Entrance Processing Station, as a Mortarman (Military Occupational Specialty 0341). He spent his last 3 years on active duty at Concord Naval Weapons Station, Concord, California guarding our nations weapons. He was Honorably discharged on October 06, 1988.
After working for several different Electrical Contractors, he was hired on as a Lineman with Edison Electrical and he and Debbie moved to and lived in Apple Valley for over 20 years, raising their daughter and three sons. In 2017, after becoming a Manager at Edison Electric he was assigned to the Wofford Heights area, Debbie joined him in 2020 settling in the Canebrake area of the Kern River Valley. He worked for Edison for 30 years total. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in August of 2022.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

0715 – REFUEL STOP – ARCO Gas Station 12078 Three Flags CT, Hesperia, CA, 92345 (1 hour 30 mins from Ridgecrest).
0745 – KSU (Approximately 55 minutes to RNC).
0840 – ARRIVE Gate at RNC await further direction and staging.
0920 - ASSEMBLE AND PREPARE FOR FLAG LINE
0930 – KSU to assigned shelter for Flag Line, Service and Military Honors
1000 – Services completed DISMISSED.

- Approximately 2.5 hours and 137 miles one way from Ridgecrest to RNC.
- Please dress warm, according to weather reports the high will be around 60 degrees at RNC but the Cajon pass will be near low 40’s.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
