The family of David Michael Andrade, Sr., has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

David served in the US Marine Corps, MCAS Tustin, from 02/1987 to 08/1992, and was discharged as an Embarkation and Logistics Specialist (rank of Sergeant (E-5)).  He coordinated and implemented two squadron deployments of 500 personnel and 65,000 pounds of equipment to Okinawa, Japan and back; assisted in loading aircraft for deployment to Middle East for Operation Desert Shield/Storm; coordinated embarkation of squadron personnel, supplies and equipment including aircraft (CH-53E Helicopters) to other local bases for training exercises; maintained and managed squadron office spaces and living quarters; coordinated, performed and managed all daily maintenance of squadron facilities; and performed purchasing duties for squadron.  He earned the National Defense Services Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

After his military service, he worked at various companies as a facilities manager over the next 30+ years.  He loved sports, working out, and hiking.  He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, sons David, Jr. (Andi) and Dyami (Yvonne), brother Joe Andrade (Nadina), and numerous nieces and nephews.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
