We have been invited by the California National Guard and the families of the returning soldiers to be there and accompany them from the airport back to the Armory where they will be reunited with their families after a long deployment. We sent these soldiers off back in January and are now bringing them home.
We will meet these soldiers as they board their busses at Long Beach Airport and accompany them to their respective Armories.
This mission includes aircraft arrival. Times are subject to last minute changes, so please check this posting for any last minute changes before departing for the mission.NOTE: The weather is predicted to be hot please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat, it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat. NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these military heroes. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying these heroes airport to the Armory. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the Armory, please be there Not Later Than 30 minutes prior to the expected arrival time, and we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
