Part 1 of a 2 Part Mission

The United States Navy and the family of PO2 Ayana Paul have invited the Patriot Guard to be with them as their hero and loved one is brought home for burial.

PO2 Paul proudly served with the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist aboard the USS Carter Hall LSD-50.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, all PGR Members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and her family from the airport to the mortuary.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the mortuary, we will meet you there.

NOTE:  This mission includes aircraft arrival.  Flight times are subject to change.  Please check this thread before leaving for any updates.

1650 - Mission Briefing

1719 – KSU to Airport Cargo, Mc Cain street for Flag Line and accompaniment of hero to the Mortuary

1745 – Flag Line and accompaniment to Bishop Mortuary, 3444 Citrus St., Lemon Grove, CA 91945 https://maps.app.goo.gl/5arioqFLcPVmUqTR8 Approx; 11 miles 20 minutes

1805 – Arrive at Mortuary, Flag Line for honorable transfer from coach to Mortuary.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  All PGR members are welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes.  No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service.  Please keep the radios off and engine noise to a minimum.
