The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit is a tribute to all who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, including the 343 members of the Fire Department of New York City (FDNY) who made the ultimate sacrifice, and all who continue to lose their lives to 9/11-related illnesses. This high-tech, 83-foot tractor-trailer, which transforms into an 1,100 square foot exhibit, is a tool to further educate people across the country about the events of that tragic day.
Welcomed around the nation, from the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, the memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts such as steel beams from the towers, documentary videos, and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. Interactive guided tours are carried out by FDNY firefighters who provide firsthand accounts of the day and its aftermath. The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit, which has traveled to nearly 50 states and Canada, has educated over 600,000 people to date.

https://t2t.org/9-11-institute/9-11-never-forget-mobile-exhibit/This is an out-of-the-ordinary, probably once-in-a-lifetime mission with participation from every Fire Department, Police agency, PGR, American Legion, VFW, military, and civilian escort from every city the route travels. The PGR are honored to have been asked to provide the missing man motorcycle accompaniment to lead the exhibit, with all others to follow. The accompaniment will depart with an unknown number of motorcycles. A classic car club has been invited to join in the accompaniment. Cages are welcome to join in as well. It is open for anyone that would like to join in and stay in the accompaniment for as long as they determine. However, if you join in while the accompaniment is in progress, you will need to fall in behind the motorcycle convoy.
The accompaniment will begin in Indio and end in Temecula. The route to be taken will be Interstate 10 Freeway North, to 60 Freeway West, to 215 Freeway South, to 15 Freeway South, to Winchester Rd. Please be advised that overpasses along the route may be filled with Police and Fire vehicles, along with others wishing to view the escort.
The exhibit will be open to the public starting on Saturday, 04 November 2023, from 1000 hours - 2000 hours
NOTE: Because this is not a solo PGR mission, we will not have full control over the accompaniment, and because of the nature of this mission the Project Manager wishes to leave this open for others to join in. However, PGR will lead the missing man formation and the accompaniment with all other riders.
NOTE: This is a to be a somber escort and if you are participating in the accompaniment, please be respectable to those we are honoring and do not honk horns, wave, or play loud music.

If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for the weather, stay hydrated and please feel free to attend any portion of the accompaniment that you can, and above all else, please ride safely.
