The family of Sergeant Emilio and Annabel Guerrero, and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved ones funeral services. It is an honor to accept this invitation.
Sadly, on Sunday, 8 October 2023, Emilio Guerrero and his beloved wife, Annabel, 47, lost their lives in a traffic accident in Downey, CA.
Sergeant Guerrero began his law enforcement career in 1994 as a Deputy Sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. In 2006, he joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Bureau of Investigation, where he served with dedication and commitment for 17 years.
During his tenure at Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Sergeant Guerrero demonstrated exceptional leadership and proved himself an invaluable asset to the organization. He was known for his outstanding performance in various assignments and earned widespread respect for his exemplary work in tactical field operations. Under pressure, his steady hand and skillful planning were always evident. Furthermore, Sergeant. Guerrero's willingness to lend a helping hand to his colleagues was an inspiration to all.
Annabel Guerrero was a dedicated teacher who previously worked for the Downey Unified School District. Their contributions to our community will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing them.
They leave behind three daughters, ages 12, 15, and 20 years of age.
