!!! HOTEL CHANGE FOR SO CALIF RIDERS !!! See below special note, new hotel listed. The family of PFC Keith Michael Williams, 19, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his memorial service, we are honored to do so.
PFC Keith Williams enlisted in the U.S. Army right after graduating high school in June, 2013, and was deployed to Afghanistan in March, 2014. He was expecting to come home early in October. He always wanted to be in the Army and defend his country and the people he loved. He was killed when the vehicle he was in ran over an IED while patrolling the Pakistan border.
Keith lived in Visalia all his life and graduated from El Diamante High School. Everyone who ever knew him said he was a joy to everyone, always the jokester making everyone laugh. He had lots of energy and was very athletic, he loved longboard surfing, snowboarding, and playing the drums.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral home to the service and back to the funeral home. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the church or the high school, we will meet you there. There will be no interment.
