On Wednesday, 03 January 2024, the following four heroes will be arriving from the Los Angeles County Coroner this week:
Gordon L. Bruce 82 USAF
Scott A. Hunter 65 USN
Steven J Tavares 62 USA
Edward Williams 74 USA
There will be no Veterans coming from the San Bernardino County Coroner this week.
The Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) will recognize veterans brought to Riverside National Cemetery for direct burial without final honors within the past week.
The PGR will be the family for these Veterans and stand by while the we render the military honors at Riverside National Cemetery.
May the souls of these Veterans rest in peace beneath the green carpet of grass in a Nation they helped to keep free.
They are not alone; we are their family.
“If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise,
Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days,
Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say,
Our Country is in mourning, for a soldier died today.”NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Military Veterans.
