The family of Richard Andrew Crabtree has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.   
                 
Richard Crabtree was born July 1, 1947, entered his eternal rest on March 6, 2024, he was 76 years old.

Richard served in the United States Navy from 1965-1994 retiring as a SCPO. Richard served two tours in Vietnam, earning the Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and Marksmanship Award.

Richard was able to travel the world in his civilian career, working in the Electronics Industry at KW Microwave Corp, Signal Technology, and others. From Racing Vintage Cars to finding that off the beaten path Diners for some home cooking, Richard enjoyed life.

Richard is survived by his daughter Jessie, son-in-law Gary, 9 grandchildren and 1.5 great grandchildren!

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, all PGR are welcome, this will be a Flag Line of Honor at Miramar National Cemetery.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or ride a motorcycle to attend this mission.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first Mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain,  (R/C). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.               
Remember that our Mission is to stand tall and silent, with Honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking and please silence and don’t use your cell phones during the flag line and service. Please keep the radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15-mph speed limit. Remember Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
