Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to celebrate The Key Ceremony for Marine PFC Jesse Williamson to honor this hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
HFOT is building a home that will be specially adapted to his needs and will be mortgage free. HFOT has done this for many wounded warriors across the country.
”On August 6th, 2009, during his first deployment, Private First Class Williamson, an Infantryman, was serving with the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines, when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Bakwa, Afghanistan. The blast launched PFC Williamson out of the vehicle, causing multiple injuries including severe damage to his legs and spinal fractures. After several surgeries to save his legs, Jesse decided to have doctors amputate both.
Medically retired, Jesse enjoys golfing, motorcycles, fishing, hunting, church, school, and spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and his two stepdaughters. Though Jesse has made progress in his recovery, he still experiences challenges in his current home because it is not wheelchair accessible. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please ride/drive safely.
