The family of Tony Limon III, 63, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany and attend the funeral service of their loved one.  It will be our honor to do so.

Tony Limon III served in the United States Marine Corps from to 11/77 to 08/98.  He was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant (E6).  He had several duty stations to include Camp Lejune after bootcamp, to a short time in Tustin, Hawaii, and eventually settled at Marines Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma, Okinawa, where he retired.  In his civilian life, he worked HAZMAT, continuing to work at MCAS Futenma until he fell ill and returned to the states.

Tony was full of life and laughter.  He was very much immersed in the Japanese culture and performed traditional Japanese dancing in traditional Japanese kimonos.  Per his daughter, Tony was a dark-skinned Hispanic and had to have white makeup applied to his face for performances.  Motorcycle riding was one of the other passions of his life.

Tony is survived by his ex-wife, Sandy, as well as daughters, Jennifer and Kari, and son, Tony IV.

NOTE:  We will be accompanying the hero from the family home to the cemetery, approximately 40 miles.
