The family of Robert Marion Edwards, 71 USN VET, has invited the Patriot Guard to honor their loved one at his Services and Military Honors. We are honored to accept.
Mr. Edwards, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 in Banning, CA. After graduating high school, Robert enlisted in the United States Navy and served for 4 years. Robert was born and raised in Colton where he lived for 25 years and he moved to Tacoma, Washington for 23 years after that and moved back to California and lived in Redlands for 5 years and Cherry Valley for the past 19 years. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Robert worked as a deputy sheriff in Yucaipa and retired from Pacific NW Bell. After his retirement, Robert earned his Bachelor's degree and retired from CJUSD where he was an elementary school teacher for 9 years.
Robert is survived by his wife, Rose M. Edwards; daughter, Rachelle M. Millsap of Redlands; sons, Rocky M. Edwards & Ryan M. Edwards both of Redlands; brother, Larry Edwards of Olympia; sisters, Charlotte of Yuma, AZ, Francis of Riverton, UT, Ginger of Redlands and Joyce of Yucaipa.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from a chapel service to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
