Veterans Without Family, Riverside, CA - 27 AUG 14

On Wednesday, 27 AUG 2014, four (4) American Heroes will be brought to Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518 for burial.

The vets will be transported by the Los Angeles County Coroner to Riverside.

These vets are:
Pruitt, Charles, USA, Vietnam
Johnson, Richard, Honorably Served
Casey, Tony, Honorably Served
Rosenfeld, Sheldon, USA, CW

We will also recognize those veterans that have been brought to RNC within the past week for direct burial without final honors.

The PGR will be there to be the family for these veterans and will stand by while military honors are rendered by the California National Guard Honor Team at Riverside National Cemetery.

May the souls of these vets rest in peace beneath the green carpet of grass in a Nation they helped to keep free.

They are not alone, we are their family.

“If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise,
Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days,
Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say,
Our Country is in mourning, for a soldier died today.”

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Military Veterans.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
