The family of Fernando Sanchez has ask the Patriot Guard to accompany them as their hero is moved to his final resting place at Bakersfield National Cemetery. We are honored to be able to be with them to help honor their hero.
Fernando Sanchez born 2/35/1954, and joined the Navy on 10/25/1972. He was stationed aboard USS Kitty Hawk CV 63 and extened his tour of duty by 3 Years but was released early for the convenience of the Government.
After his military service, Fernando was employed as an Electrical Repairman.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, this Mission will be an accompaniment from the church to Bakersfield National Cemetery. For those who would like to participate, please see the timetable and we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the Flag Line of Honor or service. Please keep the radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
