NOTICE: THE VA HAS CANCELED THIS EVENT DUE TO STAFFING ISSUES.
An alternative date is being looked into but with the weather changing, it is iffy at best. It's that time of year again! The Patriot Guard Riders have once again been asked to accompany veterans from the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Loma Linda to a morning of fishing at Lake Arrowhead. This is a special day for the veterans - for many of them- as this is the only time they get out for a day of relaxation during the year.
Please join us as we accompany them from Redlands to Lake Arrowhead where they (and we) will be treated to breakfast and after the morning fishing, lunch at the Sky Forest Elks Lodge in Rim Forest.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these military veterans. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, this will be an accompaniment from the Loma Linda VA Ambulatory Care Center in Redlands to Lake Arrowhead. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. If you wish to go directly to Lake Arrowhead, please plan to be there not later than 0800 and we will meet you there.
