The family of George Vidger has invited Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
SP4 George Thomas Vidger, 79, proudly served in the United States Army for four years and completed a tour in Germany where he worked in heavy equipment repair. He received several awards including The Army Occupation Medal (Berlin) and a Good Conduct Medal.
George was born in San Diego in 1944 and grew up in Point Loma. He graduated from Pt. Loma High and worked as an auto mechanic for a year before deciding to join the Army. After his service, George went back to repairing cars and worked for several local repair shops for the remainder of his employment years. His passions were taking his daughters fishing, being a member of the “Over the Hill Gang” and restoring antique cars. He is survived by his two daughters Julann Pinzo and Krystle Vidger and two grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial stage area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
