The Command and Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC) of this Marine Helicopter Squadron have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to welcome home their brave Marines from a recent deployment.  These men and women have lived in an environment very different from the one you and I are fortunate to be able to wake up to everyday.

Come out with your flags and let’s show them how much we appreciate them for what they do for us daily.

NOTE:  This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these heroes.  For those who are interested, and all PGR members are welcome, please see the timetable below and we will see you at either of the staging locations noted below.

NOTE:  This mission involves aircraft arrival.  Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last-minute changes before leaving.

TIMETABLE FOR WEDNESDAY, 13 NOVEMBER 2024

Staging Location #1 - Moreno Valley

0700:  Mission briefing.

0730-0900:  Standing by for exit our Marines from the base gate to be taken to their home base.

Staging Location #2 - San Diego

0840:  Mission briefing.

0850:   KSU to MCAS staging area.

0900-1100:  Standby for arrival of our Marines and flag line of honor as they enter the base.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  All PGR members are welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
