The family of Raymond A. Wubbeler has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to our country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Raymond A. Wubbeler, 101, served in the USMC from1942 -1945 and was stationed at Marine Barracks 8th & I, Washington D.C. in the Ceremonial Platoon and performed the duties of the Left Rifleman in the National USMC Color Guard for high profile ceremonies.

After his discharge Raymond worked for the CIA for 29 years from 1950-1979. Having a Top-Secret clearance, he was unable to speak of the details about his position with the CIA, so little is known about his tenure with the government.

Raymond Enjoyed music and he played various instruments. He also was an avid golfer and spent a lot of his retired time hanging around the local golf courses with friends. Raymond was a dedicated husband, and he was married to Frankie, who recently passed at 103 years old after 79 years of marriage. Raymond and Frankie will both be remembered during this service. They are survived by one daughter, Marianne, one granddaughter, and two great grandchildren.
