The family of Richard Doria, as well as a member of the Patriot Guard, has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to help render final Honors for this American Hero. It would be our Honor to do so and to stand tall for this Hero.

Richard served his time in the Navy protecting this Country on the USS Interceptor, from August 9, 1960, until November 22, 1963.

During his time in the Navy, he served during the Vietnam War but was never deployed at that time.

Upon Richards Discharge, he got more involved with his family time, on vacations, while he was working. He would take his family on many camping and fishing trips.

On his me time, he would go on an occasional hunting trip.

Richard passed away on Monday November 11, 2024, at the age of 81.

Richard leaves behind his loving wife: Joan, his 3 Daughters: Tamara, Christina, Lynda, 7 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Only 2 defining forces offered to die for you:
Jesus Christ, and the American Soldier:
One died for your soul, the other one died for your freedom.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
