We will be honored to do so.
TSgt Joseph L. LaRochelle, 38, was assigned to March Air Reserve Base as an active duty TSgt where he was attached to the 452 Security Forces Squadron., prior to serving in the U.S. Air Force, TSgt LaRochelle also served in the U.S. Marine Corps with total service of 19 years. He served in Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Enduring Freedom.
TSgt LaRochelle was also a Patriot Guard Rider and several of his Air Force brothers will be riding with us.
Joe, as he was known to his friends, is survived by his wife and son.
This Hero is from the state of Maine and the family wishes for him to return there for burial, we have been asked by his command and his family to accompany him and the family to the airport for his departure. Upon arrival in Maine, the PGR in Maine has been notified that the family would like them to honor him at his arrival and services.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to the airport. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the airport, we will meet you there.

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving.You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
