The tenth annual Operation Wounded Warrior will be held on 03 Oct. 2014. The American Legion from Queen Creek, Arizona will be delivering $8000.00 worth of Health and Comfort Items to the Wounded Warriors at the Naval Medical Center San Diego (Balboa Naval Hospital).
We ride in with the ALR riders and the Wounded Warriors are always excited to see the bikes and hear the thunder. We are then allowed to visit with some of them and thank them for their service and sacrifices.
The Patriot Guard Riders have once again been invited to attend this event and provide a Flag Line for the AL Riders and the patients that will be attending. The PGR will be honored to attend this Operation.
IMPORTANT: The Navy is requiring that all attending must submit their name a week prior to the event. If everyone who even remotely thinks they will attend, they should email the R/C Bill "Doc" Reid sandiegocoop@att.net and I will compile a list of names and submit them to the Navy.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
