The family of Michael Greslie, 69 has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to join them in paying honors to this American Hero and it will be our honor to do so.
Michael Greslie was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in The U.S. Army from 1967 to 1971. Michael was in country with the 101st Airborne, 82nd Battalion and the 506th Infantry, 3rd Battalion. He was awarded two Purple Hearts and the Soldiers Medal for saving the life of a soldier who had fallen overboard while serving on the USS General William Weigel and retired due to full disability.
Michael leaves behind a wife, son, 4 daughters and 4 grandchildren. He was very involved in the equestrian community, being involved with Mule Days in Bishop for 44 years and ETI National for 45 years. After his military service, Michael worked up until 2007 as a cameraman at Compact Video Studios.
Note: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be forming a flag line at the church as the family enters and departs the memorial service.
