PFC Tapia completed basic training and was assigned to Communications School, at 29 Palms Marine Corps Base.
In the early morning, 01 JAN 15, succumbed to injuries suffered in a traffic accident in Whittier, CA.
PFC was very proud serving in the Marines and was looking forward to a rewarding career.
PFC Tapia is survived by his Mother, Anita; Father, George and sisters, Monique Tapia, Natalie Tapia and Olivia Tobiska.
Note: This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested all are welcome. For Part 1 we will gather at the church and accompany back to the mortuary at the conclusion. For Part 2 we will gather at the mortuary and accompany to the graveside for military honors. If you wish to participate, and all are welcome, please see time tables below.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
