Our family was deeply touched by your generosity in escorting LCDR Charles D. Larson to the National Cemetery in Miramar, San Diego CA. We were completely blown away by the number of Patriot Guard Riders that met us to escort the family to Chucks final resting place. The grace and dignity shown by the PGR (If its ok to refer to your team by the acronym) was simply incredible. Our mother, Chucks wife, cannot stop talking about what a wonderful tribute you all showed to him and the entire family.
To all of the Patriot Guard Riders that responded via the blog, we were so deeply touched by your responses. The outpouring of well wishes and recognition was incredible. We was a great man, father, husband, but always put his country and family first. Just like you.
On behalf of the Larson family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Bill, your team deserves a big thanks for what they did for us, we'll never forget what you did to honor Chuck.
