It is an honor the family of Edward W. Steele invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral services.

Edward was born in Los Angeles, CA and attended Jordan High School.  Immediately after his high school graduation, Edward joined the U.S. Marine Corps and proudly served from 1970 to 1977, which included two tours in Vietnam.  Edward was honorably discharged at the rank of Cpl (E4).

After his discharge, Edward made a career working at the oil refineries, and in his spare time he loved riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and boating. The accompany of this Hero from Bellflower to Riverside National Cemetery is especially meaningful to the family, as this will be Edward's last ride and he loved riding so much.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Shannon; son, Jeremy and three grandchildren.

Note: This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran.  For those interested all are welcome.  We will accompany the hero and his family about 53 miles from White's Funeral Home to RNC.  Please see time table if you would like to participate.  For those that would rather go directly the cemetery, we will meet you there.

Note:  Military honors have already been rendered for this Hero at a prior service at the funeral home.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please post your condolences at the National link:
