The family of Paul, M. Freeman, 88 have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their loved one at his final services, we are honored to attend.

Mr. Freeman was only 17 when he enlisted in the United States Army.  He told his mom that he wanted to serve his country.  At 17 he still needed his mother's signature to enlist. He was finally able to convince her to allow him to enlist.

Mr. Freeman spent his initial training in Fort Benning, Georgia, and shortly after was sent to Italy, where Mussolini had forced his country into War. He spent a lot of time in Gorizia, as a doughboy/foot soldier/infantryman. By 19 he was the youngest company commander of a T/O Strength unit. And while he had many good memories, made friends, he had memories that were hard to speak of.

Mr. Freeman is survived by his spouse: Barbara Freeman Surviving Children: Paul Freeman Jr., Nicki Freeman & Alisha Freeman-Rembert, and 3 grandchildren.
