The family of Vincent Edward Ornelas, 66,  has requested the presence of the PGR on his final assignment and we are very proud and honored to be there.

Vincent proudly served in Vietnam from 1968-1970, after which he received an Honorable discharge.

Vincent later worked as a surgical equipment inspector and as a correctional officer with the Santa Barbara Probation Department.

Vincent also had a great interest in the martial arts and worked and excelled in many different ones.  He held black belts in Tae Kwon-Do (5th degree), American Combat Sombo (6th degree), Hapki-Do (2nd degree) and Kempo (1st degree).  He worked and trained for 30 years and eventually became a teacher himself as the director and president of several martial arts associations.

Vincent is survived by his daughter, Veronica Ornelas and his son Vincent Ornelas, and several siblings. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rita Ornelas Rivera who he now joins.
