The family of Cpl Bryan Carranza has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Bryan joined the California Air National Guard in 2010. He was attached to the 670th Military Police as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, he served in Afghanistan with 330th Military Police Co. and received a Combat Action Badge. He returned to the 670th Military Police and fulfilled his contract. Most recently he transferred to the Airborne Army Reserve 416th CA BN Unit (A). While in the reserves Bryan had been working at his father's construction company.
He will be remembered most for his love for his country, spending a year in Afghanistan. He lived to ride his Harley and loved his motorcycle club.
Bryan leaves behind many loved ones including his wife Samantha and his three children Miley, age 5, Bryan, age 4 and Aubree, age 1. He is also survived by his mother and father, Barney and Monica Carranza and Tina Houser, as well as his brother and sisters Andrew Gonzales and Cassandra Carranza and Katrina Rohr.
We have been asked to accompany this Hero from the mortuary in Chula Vista to Miramar National Cemetery for interment.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.
