The family of Royce S. Boldin has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to accompany them on this his final journey and will do so with honor.

Chief Boldin entered into eternal rest on 31 August 2013.

Chief Boldin proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1983; he was a Chief Yeoman (YNC) when he retired after 20 plus years of service.

His tours of duty included serving in Pearl Harbor and included two tours in Vietnam.  Chief Boldin was awarded many citations some of which included the National Defense Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and five Good Conduct Medals.

After his retirement from the U.S. Navy, Chief Boldin accomplished a successful career in Building Maintenance. He also volunteered as a sheriff in Ramona.

Chief Boldin was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen. He is survived by his four children.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
