The family of Capt. James M. Ahn have requested our presence to pay Honors to this young warrior, who passed way to soon. It would be our Honor to do so.

CPT. James Ahn was lost when his parachute failed to open. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this American Hero.

CPT. Ahn was originally from California and loved hanging out with everyone he met. CPT. Ahn joined the 1st Special Forces Group in May 2014. James was stationed at Joint Base Lewis- McChord, Wash. (JBLM).

CPT. Ahn's completed courses were, Detachment Leader Course, Special Operational Detachment, Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape, (SERE) Infantry Maneuvers, Basic Airborne Course, Static Line Jumpmaster, Military Freefall, and graduated Special Forces Assessment Course

Awards and Decorations: include Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism, Army Service Medal, Rigger Badge, Military Free Fall Badge, and Parachutist Badge. He was also posthumously awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.

The family and his unit that will be here until CPT. Ahn is laid to rest very much would like the Patriot Guard to attend and bring this young man to his final resting place.
