The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to attend a Remembrance Ceremony and Plaque Dedication honoring U.S. Army's Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 22nd Infantry.  We are honored to do so.

This ceremony is to commemorate the enormous sacrifice of the C/3/22.  The C/3/22 suffered 94 KIAs and had 1 MIA in Vietnam. This ceremony will be a time of remembrance and a time to honor these brave men for their service and their sacrifice.

We have been asked to accompany buses with surviving members from the Town & Country Hotel in Mission Valley to Mt. Soledad in La Jolla, a distance of 11 miles.   Once there we have been asked to provide a flag line as two plaques will be dedicated in honor of the 95 warriors who were lost.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Military Veterans. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying these heroes and families from their hotel to Mt Soledad. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to Mt. Soledad, we will meet you there.
