The family of Kenneth Wood have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to our country. It will be our privilege to do so.
 
Kenneth enlisted in the U.S. Army on 16APR69 and was honorably discharged on 14DEC70 at the rank of SP5. He served  as a crew chief on Crane helicopters in the Republic of Vietnam from 23JAN70 to 14DEC70. Kenneth qualified as Expert Marksman on both the M-14 and M-16, was award the National Defense Service Medal, the RVN Service Medal, RVN Campaign Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
 
After the Army, Kenneth worked as a locksmith for the County of Los Angeles for 21 years. He also owned a concrete and masonry business in the Canyon County area.
 
He had a lifelong passion for classic cars and hot rods, and had collected and restored many of them over the years.
 
He is survived by his wife, a son, a daughter and one granddaughter.

1245 – KSU to meeting location with family and Hero
 
1300 – Form flag line for dignified transfer of Hero
 
1330 – Accompany Hero and family to family home for a Celebration of Kenneth Wood’s life

You do not have to be a motorcycle rider or veteran to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in their cars. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed by the R/C. Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are in a car. Please ride/drive safely.
