The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the 8th Annual “Honor Our Veterans Parade”.

The parade committee invites veterans of all branches of service to walk or ride in the parade.  They request that each entry have a patriotic theme to include the American flag; red, white and blue decorations; a tribute to an American hero or heroes; and something that shows integrity and respect.  If you would like to decorate your bikes and cages with a patriotic theme that would be great.

I attended the coordination meeting for this parade and they are very pleased that the PGR is participating.  There are 16 different motorcycle clubs entered.  The majority of these are military clubs.  They want to put the PGR up front in the parade so bring your big flags for your bikes if you have them.

The event is scheduled on the Friday before Veterans Day, so those who perished and those who served are always honored and remembered.

The Patriot Guard Riders is privileged to participate in honoring all our Veterans, all bikes and cages are welcome.

Note:  This mission is posting to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring our Veterans.
