Per request of our good friend Gregg “Digger” Walker (Walker Family Funeral Services) the family of Wayne Emery Stout has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Wayne was born in Los Angeles on May 18, 1924 and entered into Eternal Rest at home in Corona on December 19, 2015.

Wayne grew up in Madera County but the family moved to South Gate where Wayne attended some high school. Many years later in 1989 Wayne received his High School Diploma from Corona High School being the oldest student graduating that year.

Wayne joined the U.S. Navy proudly serving his country during World War II from January 1943 to November 1945. Wayne was a Motor Machinist Mate Second Class (MoMM2C) stationed in the Philippines on PT Base #17.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Wayne started his life-long passion as a truck driver following his father and grandfather. Wayne drove trucks until he retired.

Wayne is preceded in death by his wife of forty-two years Wyvaun, his son Don and brother Melvin. Wayne is survived by his partner Susan, three daughters and numerous other family members.

Wayne was baptized a few months prior to his passing after a long illness, he was anxious to be with the Lord. He had a very contagious personality always cracking jokes and making people laugh.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember to post your condolences for the family to this link:  https://www.patriotguard.org/showthread.php?413004

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
