Per request of our good friend Gregg “Digger” Walker (Walker Family Funeral Services) the family of John G. Kouletsis has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.
John was born on September 16, 1925 and entered into Eternal Rest on January 19, 2016 in La Mesa, California. John was born in Manhattan, New York but raised in Chicago, Illinois.
After graduating from Lane Technical School John joined the U.S. Navy proudly serving his country during the World War II aboard the LST-742 in the Pacific.
In 1954 John moved from Chicago to San Diego where he worked from Rohr Industries for thirty-three years retiring as a quality assurance inspector engineer.
John was a bass player in San Diego for many years and in his younger years enjoyed boxing in Chicago.
John is survived by his wife Mary and many cherished children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

https://www.patriotguard.org/showthread.php?413636Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
