The family of Thomas Edward Tillitson, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Thomas served in the Army from 1967 until 1984. He served in Vietnam and earned a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 silver star, Army Service ribbon, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal 3rd award, and sharpshooter award(m-16 rifle). Thomas worked with AFN in Germany and then with the DMA at March Air Reserve Base. He achieved the rank of SSGT (E-6).

Thomas enjoyed playing golf.

He is survived by his wife Diana, a 10 year old adopted daughter Mia, and four grandchildren.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. This is a Flag Line Only Mission. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
This will be a private memorial service for this hero at Riverside National Cemetery. The administrator at RNC will have no information on this mission. Please do not contact RNC for information. The ride captain has all the information on this mission.

NOTE: The weather is predicted to be hot so please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat, it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

1055: KSU to Staging Area for presentation of Military Honors.

1100: Perform a flag line for family arrival and Military Honors

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
