The family of Matthew A. Martinez, 25, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the accompaniment and services of their loved one and to honor this American hero; we are honored to do so.
Mr. Martinez enlisted in the Marines in 2007. He served in the USMC for four years, entirely in Hawaii and was part of the MCAS Crash, Fire, and Rescue at Kaneohe Bay Hawaii.He was an Lcpl when he was discharged in August 2011
He was awarded National Defense medal, Good Conduct, Medal, War on Terrorism Medal and Navy Achievement Medal
In civilian life he was a butcher at Albertsons. He played football for the Marine Corp for 4 years and was into cars, motorcycles and surfing.
He is survived by his mother Monica Snellgrove and has 3 sisters and one brother

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle ridingor dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).
